  فیلم برادران لیلا را شکل میدهد.
  ابتدای فیلم یکی از برادران لیلا به نام علیرضا با بازی نوید محمدزاده، از کارش اخراج می‌شود.
  
  بعد از دو کاراکتر مرتضی و صمد
  حالا پیمان معادی در نقش منوچهر فیلم به سینماها می‌آید تا در کنار ترانه علیدوستی، نوید
  محمدزاده و سعید پورصمیمی جمع بازیگران این فیلم را تشکیل دهد.
  سبک سعید روستایی با دیگر کارگردانان تفاوت دارد، یکی از
  همین تفاوت‌ها نیز جریانی
  حماسی است که او به داستان می‌دهد که در این فیلم، روی داستان پدرسالار و وارثانش تمرکز دارد که همانند نسخه‌‌ی ایرانی پدرخوانده است.
  سعید روستایی باردیگر برای فیلمبرداری
  فیلم خود با هومن بهمنش همکاری کرده است.
  این کارگردان از روشی رایج در دهه‌ی هفتاد میلادی
  (زوم کردن به‌طور آرام) در فیلم‌هایش استفاده می‌کند.
  بدین ترتیب در یک شات، ما را از مشکلات و گرفتاری‌های جامعه‌ی ایرانی به درد و رنج‌های یک خانواده پرت می‌کند.
  
  خانواده در آثار سعید روستائی هسته اساسی را تشکیل می‌دهد، به راحتی آن‌را در این فیلم، به کل جامعه و معضل‌هایش می‌توان تعبیر
  کرد. در آن اخلاق و اعتماد و احترام به همدیگر گذاشتن، در
  حال از هم‌گسیختگی است و بسیاری در حال کلاه گذاشتن
  سر دیگری هستند. برادران لیلا نه تنها فیلم هم نیست که بشه بهش گفت
  بدددد بلکه یک دزدددی و سرقت و کلاهبرداریه هنری و انسانی
  یا بهتر بگم ضد انسانیه .
  تنها فرزند خانواده که به ندرت توسط چیزی یا کسی فریب
  می‌خورد، لیلا است. لیلا مصلحت‌گرا و مجرد است و تنها
  فرزند خانواده محسوب می‌شود که شغل و درآمدی مناسبی
  دارد. او مدام شاهد تصمیمات اشتباه پدر و برادرانش است
  و همینیکی از نکات مهم در این فیلم به شمار
  می‌رود که پر از ایده‌ها و نقدهای
  اجتماعی است. فیلم برادران لیلا با اینکه
  فیلمی کامل به حساب نمی‌آید اما فیلمساز
  توانسته هدف خود را به خوبی به
  نمایش بگذارد. همچنین او سعی دارد از طریق سختی‌های بی‌شمار یک خانواده، وضعیت
  ایران را نشان دهد.
  بایرام از اسماعیل می‌خواهد بنا به رسم خانوادگی سکه‌هایش را که تمام دارایی
  اسماعیل است در عروسی پسر بایرام به عنوان کادو، هدیه دهد.
  آنهم با این وجود که سال‌ها پیش بایرام برای عروسی پسر اسماعیل نیامد و هیچ
  اهمیتی برایش قائل نشد. دستیابی
  به این جایگاه حتمی نیست و نیاز به سیاست‌های محتاطانه دارد.
  اول اسماعیل باید تظاهر کند که این جایگاه را
  نمی‌خواهد، در حالی که
  رقیب او در خانواده به صورت بی‌پروا برای خودش تبلیغ
  می‌کند.
  خیلی منتقد در همین مملکت داریم
  و خارجم به فیلم نمره ضعیف نیم ستاره دادن و حتی آدمهای سرشناسی داریم قابل
  نقد ندونستن .آیا میشه به همه دنیا برچسب زد چون سلیقه
  مانیستن.؟ بخدا که خود فیلمساز و عواملش بعیده اینجوری گارد
  بگیرنن خیلی متواضعانه شنونده نظراتن .
  به گفته دیوید جنکینز، برادران لیلا، ریزش مردسالاری و سنت‌ ریشه‌داری است که در عین حال دردسرهای زیادی را می‌طلبد تا توضیح دهد که چرا مردم کورکورانه
  به آنها به‌عنوان نوعی مرهم وجودی می‌چسبند.
  
  او در ادامه می‌افراید، وزنه سنگینی که سعید روستایی برداشته است تا تغییرات روایی خود را در بستری از اعتبار نشان دهد، به همان
  میزان که حیرت‌انگیز است، سرگرم‌کننده نیز هست.
  بر خلاف عنوان فیلم، لیلا شخصیت اصلی داستان نیست، و دستکاری‌های زیرکانه
  او در بسیاری از موارد خارج از کادر دوربین است.
  
  منوچهر (با بازی پیمان معادی) که تن
  به کار نمی‌دهد به دنبال‌ طرح‌های حیله‌گرانه
  برای تصاحب ثروت‌های بادآورده است و علیرضا (با بازی نوید
  محمدزاده) به تازگی کار در کارخانه را رها کرده چرا که روسا با دستمزد درخواستی‌اش موافقت نکرده‌اند.
  نقد فیلم برادران لیلاسعید روستایی فیلم‌ساز ایرانی یک درام خانوادگی بزرگ، جذاب
  و شخصیت‌محور را به سبک ایتالیایی-آمریکایی
  با اجراهای خشن، صحنه بزرگ عروسی و تاثیرپذیری‌هایی از «روکو و برادرانش» ساخته ویسکونتی و «پدرخوانده»ی
  کوپولا ارائه می‌کند. حتی در نزاع‌ها و
  مناقشه‌های فیلم نشانه‌هایی از آرتور میلر
  هم یافت می‌شود. نقد فیلم برادران لیلالیلا در ۴۰ سالگی تمام زندگی خود
  را صرف مراقبت از پدر و مادر و چهار برادرش کرده است.
  در کشوری که درگیر تحریم‌های اقتصادی بین‌المللی است،
  خانواده دائماً با هم بحث می‌کنند و زیر بار بدهی‌ خُرد می‌شوند.لیلا در حالی که برادرانش در
  تلاش برای گذراندن زندگی خود هستند، نقشه‌ای می‌کشد تا با راه اندازی یک تجارت خانوادگی آنها را از فقر نجات دهد.
  
  البته جا دارد که بگوییم آقای محمد زاده در سریال نمایش خانگی
  قورباغه نیز به ایفای نقش پرداخت و بسیار در آن درخشان
  عمل کرد. فیلم از لحاظ ساختار فیلمنامه تناقض داشت شخصیت ها به نوعی اضافی بودن و کارکرد
  مناسبی نداشتن میشه گفت تک بعدی بودن و هنوز کاراکتر نشدن.
  فیلمبرداری گاها قاب بندی های بدی داشت کارگردانی
  نسبت به فیلم قبلی اقای روستایی بد بود.
  ظاهرا اقای روستایی به نماد دارن زیاد توجه میکنن ک
  این یک سمه برای فیلمنامه نویس و داستانش به شدت آدم رو یاد اثر
  ابد و یک روز مینداخت ک باز هم یک
  باگ حساب میشه.
  به ویژه هنگامی که موضوع درام اجتماعی درک زمان حال
  است؛ و تاریخ و آن تصویری که از جهان
  نشان می‌دهد، نقشی تعیین‌کننده دارد.
  
  این تصویر، چنان‌که لوکاچ تبیین نموده است، به
  مثابه آینه‌ای انسان را به شناخت و به تکامل می‌رساند.
  حال آن‌که نمایش ناتورالیستی و بی‌رحمانۀ واقعیت، از ارائۀ تصویر چنین انسانی عاجز بوده
  و محدود به بیان دیدگاه‌های شخصی هنرمند است؛ که بیش از هر
  چیز، سیاسی و ایدئولوژیک است. به بیان روشن‌تر روستایی با وام‌گرفتن واقعیت و تقلیل دادن ان به مادۀ خام، جهانی را بر مبنای برداشتی که در نظر دارد،
  شکل داده و بازنمایی می‌کند؛ اما موفق
  نمی‌شود فردیتِ شخصیت‌های فیلمش را
  با روح زمانه‌اشان پیوند زند.
